Vacancy

Intern (m/f/d)

Consulting team at Aspera Partners discussing project documents – a modern consulting firm working collaboratively.

Job description

We firmly believe that crises refine us. As individuals, as teams, as organisations. They show us our strengths and weaknesses clearly and unsparingly. And they motivate us to continually surpass ourselves.

That is why we work exclusively in these powerful moments: during critical upheavals in significant medium-sized companies. Where responsibility is clear and a rapid change of course is necessary and possible.

In strategy, finance and leadership. In analysis, concept and implementation. With 20 years of experience in strategy consulting, turnaround management and private equity.

With us, you will experience and learn hard business administration and human leadership. When it really counts and for those who really need it. With 12 ambitious colleagues, we are at the beginning of our development into one of the leading transformation and turnaround managers. With excellent network partners and, above all, with clients who are worth our passion. We would like to expand our team with committed colleagues who share this aspiration and actively shape our development.

What you can expect

  • You will develop quickly, both professionally and personally, and gain direct insight into challenging consulting work.

  • You will take on initial responsibility for clearly defined tasks in exciting projects.

  • You will need and develop all your skills: analytical, creative, pragmatic, technical, methodological, communicative and personal.

  • You will gain insights into business contexts and develop a holistic understanding of business models.

  • You will work in a small team with experienced colleagues who encourage collaboration and actively share their knowledge.

  • You will want for nothing, from fair remuneration to comfortable travel and good hotels to high-quality technical equipment.

  • Your personal development is our priority, as you will receive continuous feedback and can develop your skills in a targeted manner.

  • You can live wherever you want, as we work at our clients' premises or remotely. We find flexible and inspiring locations for our internal meetings.

Your responsibilities:

  • You will support experienced colleagues in turnaround and performance projects and quickly take on responsibility for your own tasks.

  • You will participate in the analysis of business models, finances and control systems of upper mid-sized companies.

  • You will work on the development of viable turnaround concepts and integrated business plans.

  • You will support management in structural, operational and financial measures and will be involved (almost) like a consultant.

  • You will actively drive internal projects forward and contribute to the further development of Aspera Partners through your own ideas and improvement initiatives.

What you bring to the table

  • You are at least in your fifth semester of a business-related bachelor's degree programme or a master's degree programme with above-average grades.

  • Initial practical experience from internships or working as a student trainee is an advantage, but not essential.

  • You have a balanced personality that combines seemingly contradictory traits: sociable, reflective, analytical, pragmatic, creative, structured, serious, self-deprecating, authentic and professional.

  • You communicate confidently in German and English and can present content clearly and comprehensibly.

  • You are curious, willing to learn and open to continuous professional and personal development.

Benefits:

  • EGYM Wellpass

  • Further training & coaching

  • Trust-based working hours

  • Team events

  • Fair remuneration

  • Comprehensive technical equipment

2.1 First interview

In the first interview, we want to get to know you and give you the chance to get to know us as well. In a relaxed conversation of about 45–60 minutes, we’ll talk about what drives us, what interests you most and some of the moments that have shaped our journeys so far.

By the end of the conversation, we should both have a good sense of whether we can imagine being on the same team.

2.2 Case Study
